What Actually Happens During Installation
A proper tire installation is more than just swapping rubber. Here's the full process our technicians follow.
Vehicle Inspection
We inspect your current tires, wheels, and suspension for any issues before starting work. If we spot anything unusual, we let you know before proceeding.
Old Tire Removal
Your vehicle is lifted, wheels removed, and old tires unmounted from the rims using touch-less equipment that prevents damage to alloy wheels.
Rim Cleaning & Inspection
Rims are cleaned of old rubber, valve stems are replaced, and rims are inspected for bends, cracks, or corrosion before new tires are mounted.
New Tire Mounting
New tires are mounted onto the rims with proper lubrication and bead seating. We never force a tire — if it doesn't seat correctly, we investigate why.
Computer Balancing
Every wheel is high-speed balanced to eliminate vibration. Weights are attached precisely where needed for a smooth ride.
TPMS Check & Reset
If your vehicle has a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, sensors are checked, torqued to spec, and the system is reset.
Installation & Torque
Wheels are mounted onto your vehicle and lug nuts are torqued to manufacturer specifications — never just "tightened by feel."
Final Pressure Check
All tires are inflated to the recommended pressure for your vehicle, and the TPMS light is verified as off.
How Long Does Installation Take?
Standard Installation
45–60 minutes
Four tires, mounting, balancing, installation, and TPMS reset. This is the typical turnaround for most passenger vehicles.
Installation + Alignment
75–105 minutes
When you add a wheel alignment to your installation. Recommended when installing new tires to protect your investment.
Large Vehicles (Trucks/SUVs)
60–90 minutes
Larger tires and dually configurations may take longer. Call ahead so we can have the right bay ready for you.
Common Installation Mistakes We See (and Fix)
If another shop installed your tires and something feels off, we can diagnose and correct it.
Over-Torqued Lug Nuts
Lug nuts tightened with impact guns can stretch studs and warp brake rotors. We torque every wheel to spec with a calibrated torque wrench.
Missing or Wrong Valve Stems
Old rubber valve stems can crack and leak. We replace valve stems as standard practice on every installation.
Skipped Balancing
Some shops skip balancing to save time. This causes vibration, uneven wear, and premature tire failure. We never skip balancing.
TPMS Not Reset
After installation, the TPMS system must be reset or the warning light stays on. We handle this as part of the service.

Wheel Lock Key (If Applicable)
If your wheels have locking lug nuts, bring the key. We can't remove locked wheels without it.
New Tires (If Purchased Elsewhere)
We install tires purchased from any retailer. Just bring them with you.
